How my work will benefit you

One of my jobs as a therapist and coach is to advocate for my clients more than they are currently capable of. This type of guided, non-judgmental self-exploration helps clients see themselves (and others) in a new light.

My work with clients focuses on experiences like:

  • Clarity & Direction: clear goals with clear intentions

  • Trust: in self and in relationships

  • Confidence: learning to take action

  • Independence: the fulfillment of focusing on self

  • Self Love: acceptance + encouragement

  • Peace of Mind: calm and present

To read about this in my client’s own words, feel free to read their full testimonials.

Long-term, my work is focused on helping to make mental/emotional health as common and ‘every day’ as physical health is today.

The same rise and acceptance can exist in the mental/emotional health space when it’s treated as a proactive prevention rather than a reactive solution.

For example, with physical health we don’t start exercising and paying attention to our diet only when we’re unwell - this would be reactive and unproductive. However, this is often the case with mental/emotional health - we only seek help and assistance when we’re struggling.

Today, it’s not as common to be proactive because it means “there is something ‘wrong’ with me.” This stigma doesn’t exist in physical health and therefore we’re proactive in making it a priority.

Furthermore, we know how to workout but we still go to classes, hire personal trainers, coaches, and physical therapists. We don’t do it alone, even though we could. We get help because we see results faster. It’s no different whether you’re working out or working in! It doesn’t mean there is something ‘wrong’ with you. It doesn’t mean you don’t know what to do. It means you’re committed to personal development and overall well-being.

I help people change.

It’s easier to change things outside of us - jobs, partners, cities, etc. It’s harder to change things inside of us - beliefs, emotions, thoughts etc. We’re all pretty adept and equipped to working out. My passion and focus is helping people start working in.
